checkmate

If you cannot escape from check using any of the three rules of check then u are in checkmate and the game is over!
The work checkmate comes from the persian word shah mata which means "the king is dead".

chess is a very interesting mind breaking game. apart from the skills and strategies involved, there is another aspect of chess that we usually don't see, that is, the way we play chess reflect ourselves. many become aggressive as they are beaten by opponent; some lose their cool when they were cornered. i feel, the most important thing about chess is only about winning the game but when we lose, we should still have sportsmanship and be a Gentleman. any one who disagrees with this?
